DGS at Chicksands

Core Criteria for DGS Hub Gardens

DGS delivers and evaluates a 10 week nature based therapy programme for the AF Community at selected safe and secure gardens across the UK.

We have outlined the essential and desirable criteria for gardens that wish to join the network.

Essential qualifications for DGS practitioners

DGS service delivery at every garden is led by a two person delivery team. Headed up by a lead trained social and therapeutic horticulture practitioner who is supported by a gardener from the garden and where possible a veteran volunteer- ideally who has attended a previous DGS programme.

Pease check out the backgrounds and experience of our current teams on our website and also review the summary of training and experience required on the attached role description.
